How to Check Valve Health Before Connecting
While the regulator fits all standard brands, always inspect the cylinder valve when receiving a refill from your local depot:
- Verify that the black rubber seal ring inside the brass valve neck is intact and free of cracks.
- Ensure the brass valve neck is not dented or deformed from rough handling during transport.
- If the collar fails to click cleanly into place, ask your gas vendor for a replacement cylinder immediately.
