Remove Plastic Cap
Pull the seal cord off your fresh Nepal Gas or Sugam cylinder and remove the protective safety cap from the valve nozzle.
Lift Black Collar
Lift the locking lower collar of the IGT regulator upwards with both hands to open the internal steel ball-bearing lock.
Press Down Until "Click"
Place the regulator firmly onto the 25.6mm cylinder neck and push downward. You will hear an audible "CLICK" locking it permanently.
Turn Lever & Check Leak
Rotate the switch lever to ON. Press the manometer button twice to test for zero-leak line integrity before turning on your stove.

Do I need teflon tape, clamps, or tools to fit the regulator?
No tools or teflon tape are needed for the cylinder connection. The IGT regulator is an engineered snap-on compact system with an internal precision nitrile O-ring that seals automatically. Only use a screwdriver to tighten the hose clip on the stove end.
What if the gas cylinder valve itself has a damaged rubber washer?
When you install the IGT regulator and perform the 10-second manometer leak check, the pressure gauge needle will immediately decline if the cylinder neck washer is damaged. This warns you before lighting any burner!
